LATIN DANCE INSTRUCTOR

There are no special dance requirements. All dance levels are accepted. The only true requirement are willness, ambition and a passion for dancing and for success!

 

The training program will examine a variety of topics and will extend over a 6 months period for 150 hours of training. This training guarantees the acquisition of a strong and solid knowledge throughout the year.


The qualifications and specializations of each instructor adapt perfectly to the needs of the students in order to accompany them in their technical profession, their comprehension of the fundamental mechanisms as well as in their personal development. Our main goal is to provide the necessary to a good start in a professional career.


The main concept developed by Hot Latin Salsalsa Dance Studio is to bring together the core practical and theoretical knowledge training with the students very own creative artistic and style development in a dance environment.

 
 
 

 

 

Program Contents
5 Levels - 150 hours 
 
 

Dance course (60h):
Personalized teaching of the techniques, figures, steps, practical exercices and simple demonstrations. Group exercices and techniques. Warm-ups. Dance techniques, body m physical training for the dance... Progressive follow-up of each student.

Dance/music relationship (10h) :
Integration of the rhythm and musical beat. Listening, comprehension and interpretation of the music.

History of Latin Art and Dance (10h) :
Training in the origins and evolution of the latin dances.

Teaching approach (20h) :
Acquisition of the teaching aids and materials. Development in the sense of observation, and attention. Training on how to structure courses for a group and individual.

Marketing (10h) :
Teaching of marketing methods, how to meet the public, and how to find contracts (kno competition, market research, tools of communication, publicity...).

Conscience and creativity (20h) :
Acquisition of a good self-awareness and development of the body conscience. Intergration of expressive values, technical aspects in relation to ones emotions, sensoriality and symbo .

Fieldwork (20h) :
Professional real-time experience for the student who will be assisting a qualified professor in his courses.
