Below is a complete list of all the steps contained in Level2 Salsa DVD Feeling the excitement of Latin Dances.THE ROPEMan initiates a back break with his left leg (stepping on the count of 1, 2, 3) and then leading the lady around him (on the count of 5, 6, 7). Man steps on the spot ( on the 1, 2, 3) and finally turns the lady (on the 5, 6, 7) getting ready for the next move. Pay close attention to the arm movements for both, man and lady. THE WINDOWMan basically performs a Left turn and the Lady performs Right Turn. Check this out. Man and lady will start off creating a window form with their arms. Man steps (on the 1, 2, 3) preparing to turn to the left and then completing the left turn (on the 5, 6, 7) as he signals the lady’s right turn, Getting ready for the next move. REV COOL CBLMAN starts a Cross Body Lead in a closed position (on the 1, 2, 3) leading the lady to his left side as he turns to the right side completing the move and facing each other. Man will do ½ right turn presenting his back to the lady (on the 1, 2, 3) as he throws her right arm causing her to turn (on the 5, 6, 7). Getting ready for the next move. MATADOR BACK PASSMan signals a lady’s right turn (on the 1, 2, 3) and he run passes the lady on the (on the 5, 6, 7) making her go around him (on the 1, 2, 3) bringing her in front of him completing the move with a lady’s right turn (on the 5, 6, 7). Getting ready for the next move. WOMAN RIGHT TURN - HAND SWITCHMan switches hand (on the 1, 2, 3) as he invites the lady to turn to the right turn (on the 5, 6 ,7). Getting ready for the next move. REV. CBL TRAVELING TURNSMan does a back break (on the 1, 2, 3) and walks towards the lady. Lady turns (on the 5. 6. 7) as she passes along side the man. Notice that they both will switch places. This step is repeated. And ready for the next move. REV. CBL HAND PULL Man starts with a back break (on the 1, 2, 3) holding the lady’s right arm and ending perpendicularly to her. From that position, man pulls lady’s right arm causing her to turn (on the 5, 6, 7) to face each other. And get ready for the next move. REV. CBL SHOULDER TO WAIST SIDE TO SIDE This move starts with a complete CBL (1,2,3 - 5,6,7) Man does back break (on the 1,2,3) holding the lady’s right shoulder and leading her into a reverse CBL. Block (on the 5,6,7). At this point, man holds the lady’s right shoulder with his right hand and the lady’s left hip with his left hand leading her into a side to side step (1,2,3 5,6,7) and finally, to complete the pattern, Man holds the lady’s waist with both hands (on the 1,2,3) bringing her in front of him with a right turn (on the 5,6,7). - ready for the next move. REV. CBL BACK HAND SHAKEMan starts this moves with a full CBL (123 567) Man does a back break (on the 1, 2, 3,) hand-shaking the lady at her back to lead her into a Juan Valdez Move (on the 5,6,7,) JUAN VALDEZMan leads the lady into a reverse CBL turn (on the 5, 6, 7) as he ends up with his back towards the lady. Man steps forward on his left foot and lady back on her right foot (on the 1,2,3) Bring her in a reverse CBL hammerlock. - ready for the next move. REVERSE CBL HAMMERLOCKMan brings the lady in front of him using a reverse CBL turn (on the 5, 6, 7) finishing in a hammer-lock position. - ready for the next move. MAN COOL RT FROM CBLMan with the lady in a hammer-lock position, proceeds with a CBL (on the 1,2,3) as he passes the lady, under his right arm, he turns to the right (on the count of 5,6,7) getting ready for the next move. MAN RIGHT DOCK TURNMan performs a right turn (on the 1,2,3) and leads the lady into a right turn (on the 5,6,7) Man turns to the right (on the 1,2,3) placing the lady’s right hand on his right shoulder and docking (on the 5,6,7) ending a CBL. |
